Designed to maintain circuit integrity during emergencies, it withstands flames at 750–800°C for 90 minutes (complying with IEC 60331 standards), ensuring uninterrupted power supply to life-saving systems like fire pumps,emergency lighting, and evacuation routes  Rated for 0.6/1kV to 8.7/15kV voltage levels.

Conductor
Fire-Resistant Layer
Typically made of copper, this is the core part of the cable responsible for conducting electricity. It can be a single core or multiple cores depending on the application requirements.
This layer is added around the conductor to protect it from high temperatures and flames. It is usually made of mica tape, which has excellent heat resistance properties .
Cross-Linked Polyethylene (XLPE) Insulation
PVC Sheath :
This layer provides electrical insulation between the conductor and other layers. XLPE is known for its superior thermal stability and dielectric strength compared to PVC (Polyvinyl Chloride) .
The outermost layer, made of PVC, protects the cable from mechanical damage, moisture, and chemicals. It also adds flexibility to the cable .

To prevent damage, drums are tightly bound with steel strapping and fully encased in waterproof polyethylene film, guarding against moisture, dust, and mechanical shocks.
